Panda House Chinese Restaurant: A Taste of Authentic Chinese Cuisine in Saginaw

Amazing food and portions! Highly recommend the seasme chicken over the sweet and sour. Took me 3 years to make it back, but still amazing! The waitress was quirky but very great! Piano player for the evening set the mood. Tried the Red dragon drink and it was too sour for my preference. All great food!

This restaurant was set up beautifully as an old school restaurant back in the day including a piano which I have heard people play music from it. Our service was outstanding they even helped the new people decide what they would like to eat. Food came out top-notch and was very very good. I would highly recommend this place and I will be coming back here again to try other items on the menu. They have a very large menu with lots of choices.

This is the type of restaurant that you rarely find anymore. Local place that has been in the city a very long time. Very reasonable prices, excellent food, excellent drinks, excellent service. Came here before a show at Dow Event Center and I have nothing but positive things to say after my first visit. There aren’t many restaurants around anymore that make you feel like you got your money’s worth, but this is one of them. On top of all of that, really nice live piano music right next to our table. We live about 30 minutes away but we will definitely be back.

I surprised my husband to a fantastic Chinese dinner, He and I had never been there before, and we were really interested in the menu because they have foods that other restaurants don't carry including duck and fish. When you walk into the restaurant the first thing you notice is how clean it is, then you just see the yellow tablecloths and how nice everything is inside the tables are too close together so that you feel like you're dining alone when you're not. I ordered the general tsos chicken in my husband got the sweet and sour chicken and then we both got wonton soups. When they presented the meal they said it on a rack with little tea light candles underneath so not only is your plates getting warmed but your food is also being warmed while you're eating it. It's just a great idea. And then to top it off we had a great waitress her name was Rebecca and she was great since I hadn't been there before I asked her for recommendations and her recommendations were very good. They have a piano a grand piano and she informed us that on Fridays and Saturday nights they play piano on those nights. We are definitely coming back and I'm going to bring my parents next time because I thoroughly think they will enjoy it. Especially if we go in the evening on a Friday or Saturday. Parking was very easy and it was easy to get to and it's right along the Saginaw River.

Had General Tso Chicken, Seafood Sizzling Rice and Lemon Chicken. All cooked to perfection, large portions, very delicious. We also had fried rice. Disappointed the fried rice has no vegetables in it. Our server, Katie, was professional, efficient and attentive.

Best Chinese in Saginaw! The food was superb! Crab cheese actually had crab meat in the filling. The egg roll was big and filled with fresh ingredients that wasn't bogged down by grease. They don't have a kids meal, but they did have homemade chicken nuggets and a side of fries. This restaurant is on the fancier side, I really enjoyed it. In retrospect, it's probably not a good place to take a loud screechy toddler. Would make for a great date night. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Will definitely go back! Highly recommend.

We tried quite a bit as I had heard really good things about this restaurant. The tea was a surprising jasmine tea but was a little off putting with the food. We ordered the pot stickers which were delicious! The taste reminded me of dumplings I had in Shanghai. The egg rolls were bland but the hot mustard was on point! The chicken corn soup sounded different but lacked flavor. Sesame chicken as the main dish had a slight peanut butter taste to me. The waitstaff was great and the ambiance pleasing. I would go back to try something new!

Very good service, delicious food served hot and kept warm with table top candle warmers. Decor is good, there's a piano in the one dining room (they have jazz playing over the speakers for some nice ambiance). Highly Recommended.
